Ubuntu

I am currently working on the next Ubuntu release, resolute raccoon (26.04). There, I am
preparing the next versions of packages in the container stack (docker,
containerd, runc), PostgreSQL, isc-kea and other Server related packages.

Debian

I have been mostly forwarding the work I do in Ubuntu to Debian. I also have
been working on the 3.x version of the isc kea package.

Reading

Container Security. I am going though this book from Liz Rice on the ins
and outs of how container software is written and its isolation guarantees.

Studying

I have been going through Crafting
Interpreters and slowly implementing
the first part of the book in Rust instead of using the book’s code, which is
in Java. This way, I can study the 2 topics (compilers and Rust) at the same
time. The second part of the book is written in C to show students the issues
one may face while having to deal with memory management. I am considering
doing that part in some sort of assembly when the time comes.
